To improve delivery speed and reliability, Yoru now offers complimentary UPS Ground shipping in place of USPS Ground Advantage.

This Shipping Policy outlines important information regarding the shipment of our jewelry. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms described below.

 

1. Shipping Locations:

  • Orders are shipped from Atlanta, GA, and New York City, NY.
  • At this time, we ship within the United States only.

 

2. Shipping Methods and Rates:

  • Complimentary shipping is available on all orders placed through our site.
  • Standard complimentary shipping is fulfilled via UPS Ground. If the shipping address cannot be located within the carrier’s system, the order will be shipped via USPS Ground Advantage instead.
  • We also offer additional shipping options at checkout, each with its own rate and estimated delivery timeframe. Available methods and pricing will be displayed during checkout.

 

3. Processing Time:

  • For pieces, orders are generally shipped within 1–3 business days. You will receive an email with a tracking number within 48 hours of your order being shipped. 
  • Should any crafting delays arise, a notice will be posted at the top of this Shipping Policy page.

4. Estimated Delivery Times:

  • Estimated delivery times are provided based on the shipping method selected and the destination.
  • While we make every effort to ensure timely delivery, we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates due to potential delays caused by shipping carriers or unforeseen circumstances.

5. Tracking Your Order:

  • Once your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. You can use this information to monitor the progress of your delivery.

6. Shipping Carriers:

  • The carrier may vary depending on your location and the selected shipping method.
  • All free shipping will ship via USPS.

7. Shipping Address:

  • Please ensure that your shipping address is accurate and complete. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect or incomplete addresses. We will make an attempt to contact you if this is flagged in our system.

8. Lost or Damaged Shipments:

  • Yoru is not responsible for packages lost with shipping carriers. In the rare event that your shipment is lost, stolen, or arrives damaged, please contact our Customer Service Team immediately. our Team can assist in filing a claim on behalf of you to receive a refund or replacement.

9. Returns Due to Shipping Issues:

  • If your order is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by you or a failure to receive the package, we may charge a reshipping fee.

10. Order Modifications and Cancellations:

  • We may not be able to modify or cancel your order once it has been processed and shipped. Please contact our Customer Service Team for assistance.

RETURN & EXCHANGE

This Return & Exchange Policy outlines important information regarding the return and exchange of our jewelry. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms described below.

 

Once your order has been delivered, you have 14 days to request an exchange for a different size or style, or to receive Yoru store credit. Please note that full refunds are not accepted once an order has been placed, unless the item arrives with confirmed damage or a crafting defect. If your piece arrives with a defect, our warranty will cover a repair, replacement, or refund.

 

1. Eligibility

  • We accept exchanges within 14 days of delivery under the following conditions:
    • The item must be unworn, unused, and unaltered
    • The item must be returned in its original packaging
    • The item must show no signs of wear, aging, or damage.
  • Pieces that have been worn or naturally aged are not eligible for return, as each Yoru piece is designed to evolve with its wearer.

2. Process

  • To initiate an exchange, please contact us at contact@yoru.studio within 14 days of the delivery date and include your order number and the reason for the exchange.
  • If your exchange is approved, we will provide you with a return shipping label and instructions for returning the item.
  • Exchanges will be processed as credits only. Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it to ensure that it is in the same condition as when it was shipped to you.
  • Once the item is confirmed to be in an acceptable condition, we will issue the credits to the original purchase account.
  • A new order needs to be placed for the the item you wish to exchange.

 

3. Shipping Costs

  • For approved exchanges: we will provide a shipping label for eligible exchanges. However, the cost of shipping will be deducted from the issued store credits unless the return is due to an error on our part, such as a defective or incorrect item.

4. Crafting Defects

  • Every Yoru piece is handcrafted to high standards. In case of your jewelry piece arrives with a confirmed crafting defect:
    • You may choose between a replacement or a full refund to the original payment method.
    • Refunds will be processed within 3 business days after inspection and approval.
  • Each Yoru piece is intentionally handcrafted and finished to preserve its natural texture and depth. We do not fully polish our pieces to a high-gloss perfection, as subtle surface variations, soft markings, and an aged, vintage character are part of the design philosophy. These characteristics are intentional and inherent to the piece’s aesthetic. They are not considered defects.

5. Limitations of Liability

  • This Return & Exchange Policy constitutes the sole and exclusive remedy regarding product returns. Yoru Studio disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yoru Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our products.

6. Changes to this Policy

  • We may update our return policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new return policy on this page.
